Documentation / Desktop / Scan a document Cameras

Upload files

If you already have photos or scans of documents saved as files, you don't need a camera at all. Click the upload icon to switch from camera to file upload mode.

Upload
Upload area with a cloud icon, "Drop files here or click to browse" and "JPEG, PNG or PDF (one document per page)". A Camera button at the top-left switches back

Drop or browse JPEG, PNG or PDF. Each PDF page is processed as a separate document. Drop several files at once for bulk processing.

Processing files

Each uploaded file appears in the list with its name, size and a per-page progress indicator. A green checkmark and page count signal a successful read; a red icon means the file could not be parsed. Click any thumbnail to open the result.

Upload: processed files
Upload mode after a file has been processed. A Camera button at the top-left, an "Add more files" drop zone, then a row showing "ES-Spain.png" with size 184.4 KB and a green "1 pages" indicator. Below the row, a thumbnail of the processed document with a timestamp

The result

Clicking a thumbnail opens the same result modal as a camera scan: uploaded image on the left, extracted fields on the right, with Report and Close at the bottom. See Report an error for the report flow.

Bulk processing

You can upload multiple files at once, or use Add more files after the first batch to keep adding to the list. This is ideal when you have a batch of pre-scanned documents to process.

To return to live camera scanning, click the Camera button at the top-left of the upload area.
