DocuGuest for Android reads passports, ID cards and MiDNI QR codes with the phone's camera and, on phones with NFC, the chip in passports and ID cards. It's on Google Play.
Link it to your management system with an integration code and every scan is sent there. If your integration shares its bookings, you can scan each guest straight into their room, or each driver into their vehicle at a car rental. The app is in English or Spanish and follows your system's light or dark appearance, or the one you pick in Settings.
Install the app
The app is available for Android on Google Play.
- Open DocuGuest on Google Play on your Android device, or search for DocuGuest in the Play Store.
- Tap Install and wait for the download to finish.
- Open the app and allow camera (and NFC, if you plan to read passport chips) permissions when prompted.
Home screen
Pick what to do from the home screen.
- Bookings: your bookings, to scan each guest into their room, or each driver into their vehicle at a car rental (Rentals). Only with integrations that share their bookings; not all do.
- Scan Document: reads the document with the camera, or its chip if NFC is turned on.
- Settings: language, NFC, auto-send and your integration code.
